This weeks letter from Sister Shelton

Hello!!

Wow, I can't believe it's already Monday again! This week sure flew by fast! It's been a great week though!

On Tuesday we had interviews with President Houseman, and like always, it was great! He seriously is just one of the most loving people I've ever met, and i'm super grateful to have him as a president!
And then on Friday we had a training at the mission office with President and Sister Houseman, and all the secretaries and assistants. It was my whole group that I arrived with, and our trainers. It was super great! I learned tons, and I got to see all of my friends from the CTM again!

One of the most difficult things about the week though has been our investigators. We have some super difficult investigators right now, and their baptism, which was supposed to be this past week, fell through. We've rescheduled it for this week though, so I have lots of hope for them! Keep Lucas and Marcia in your prayers!

The miracle of the week actually has to do with Lucas and Marcia. We were teaching them one night, and they were being super stubborn, and not wanting to commit to anything. And then, I started talking, but it wasn't me talking. The spirit was talking through me. Portuguese was not a problem, and I knew exactly what to say. But honestly, now, I can't remember what I said. I just remember the spirit being so strong! It was a very cool, and very powerful experience.

I love you all so very much, and I'm so very grateful for all you have done, and are doing for me!

Love, Sister Shelton

Scripture of the week: Ether 12:27 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble, and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."
