Cada dia uma cosa...Something every day!

HELLLOOO!!!!

Bom dia todo mundo! How are you all? I hope you all had a great week!

This has been one of the most insane weeks of my entire mission! I think we spent more time in Recife than in our own area. But all is good!
Monday all the Sisters in my district went to Alto de Se again for a picnic lunch! It was so great! It honestly is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my life!

Tuesday Sister Trinidade and I went to the temple. President authorized us to go, to help Sister Trinidade during this difficult time since her Dad passed away. It was so great to be in the temple again! It really is the house of the Lord.

Wednesday we had a mission tour with Elder Costa, a member of the area presidency here in Brasil, and his wife. It was incredible!! They talked about so many things that really are helping me improve and be a better missionary! It was also really fun, because they sat by Sister Trinidade and I at lunch, and we were able to talk to them for a long time! After the mission conference, I received a blessing from President Houseman and Elder Costa, because I've had a lot of pain in my ear. It was literally the most powerful blessing I've ever received, and it brought a lot of comfort to me. Like I said though, I've had a lot of pain in my ear, and after the blessing, Sister Trinidade and I went to the hospital to get it checked out. The doctor told me that I have an ear infection, and possibly a problem with my wisdom teeth. WHAT?! He told me to go see a dentist, and that I'd probably have to get my wisdom teeth out. (because I didn't get them out before my mission, because I was told I don't need to worry about them.) But, Friday we went to another doctor, and after an examination, he said it's just an infection, and stress. Apparently I clench my jaw at night, and it's manifesting pain in my ear. Whew! It's much easier to fix a problem concerning stress than wisdom teeth. I was really scared for a while though!

I don't have a lot more time, so I hope that everything makes sense. It's been a crazy week, and a lot has happened, but the miracle of the week has been every single day. It's been hard, but I've received so much help!

Read Alma 57:12 this week! It's such a great scripture!!

With lot's and lot's of love (and a promise to send pictures next week)
Sister Shelton
